Our Story
Daybreak Church started in November 1999 with a dream for a different kind of church – a place where people we welcome to come as they are but not stay that way. A place where people could engage in vital relationships, develop and grow. A place where people could live a vibrant life of faith as they develop a life-changing relationship with Jesus.
God planted the seeds of that dream in the hearts of 66 people and today Daybreak has over 1,300 people who attend weekend worship on two campuses! From our start in a rented space in a business plaza, to our campus located at 321 Gettysburg Pike to our newly born second campus on the Carlisle Pike, God has provided as we have faithfully followed His lead.
Daybreak belongs to a group of churches called the Christian & Missionary Alliance which focuses on fulfilling the Great Commandment and Great Commission of Jesus Christ. We believe that everyone we lock eyes with matters to God so we keep our doors wide open for people far from God to find their way back into the Father’s embrace!
