Helping People Discover A Life-Changing Journey With Jesus

How To Give

Giving @ Daybreak

Giving of our finances is a great adventure in following God. God sees giving as an act of worship, and learning to give generously to God teaches each of us to trust Him more. Additionally, giving is a way of expanding your ministry exponentially beyond your own talents and time.
We believe the first developmental step for any follower of Christ is to become obedient to God’s principle of return. The principle of return states that our response to giving back to God is not optional, but it is developmental! We all need help to align our finances with God’s principles. That’s why we offer Financial Peace University to assist you in your journey. Please check it out as a possible next step in following Jesus.

Three Ways To Give

E-Giving - Use our secure e-giving option to automatically give weekly, biweekly or monthly. You can also use e-giving to donate to Daybreak missions or make one-time gifts. To set up bi-weekly giving, you'll need to use the weekly option and designate half of your bi-weekly offering each week. Please be sure to choose the General Fund for the campus you attend so we can designate your ministry support appropriately.

Bill Payer - Use your bank’s bill payer service to automatically send your regular offering to the church office at Daybreak Church 321 Gettysburg Pike Mechanicsburg, PA 17055 Please make sure to specify your campus by writing GP (Gettysburg Pike campus) or GHR (Good Hope Road campus) in the memo line.

Giving Envelopes - Use a giving envelope for cash and checks. Pick up a box in the Gettysburg Pike Campus Resource Center, or at the Good Hope Road Guest Central.

Why Does God Expect Us To Give?

If you asked God why giving is so important to Him, He might say something like this... "I love you so much that I have given you everything you need.1 You are My steward, responsible to wisely use what is Mine. When you return to Me a portion of what you receive you acknowledge My true ownership, but you also do much more. You serve as My channel to supply practical needs of people around you.2 Your giving proves the sincerity of your love for others,3 and as you give you show faithfulness in small matters so I can trust you with greater things.4 Most of all, I want you to give financially because when giving costs you something, you’re offering Me a sweet sacrifice of worship that delights Me."5
