Children Ministries

When you serve in All Stars, you’re partnering with parents who want their kids to have a real relationship with Jesus and a biblical worldview.

There are many ways to contribute to God’s work in our kids and their families. Whether you’re working directly with kids or behind the scenes, your contribution will spur kids along to a deeper commitment to Christ.

Opportunities

Nurseries (Birth – age 2)

• Nursery Coach: Play with infants and toddlers and show God’s love to them by loving them and taking care of their needs on Sunday mornings at 9:00 or 11:00.

JV & Varsity Sunday Morning Classroom Roles (Ages 2-4th Grade)

• Sunday Morning Coach: Help kids through classroom activities that help them apply what they’re learning. Serve at 9:00 or 11:00.
• Sunday Morning Storyteller: (JV Age 2-K) In a large group setting, lead the children in a time of worship using a DVD, followed by telling the week’s Bible story to the children. Serve at 9:00 or 11:00.
• Sunday Morning M.C.: (Varsity 1st-4th Grade) In a large group setting lead the children in a time of worship and facilitate the DVD lesson on Sunday mornings at 9:00 or 11:00.
• Support Coach: Help a child with special needs participate in All Stars. Learn more. (link to SupportMinistryContribute page) Serve at 9:00 or 11:00.
• Double Header Coach: Facilitate kids through engaging activities that help them to apply what they just learned in their Bible lesson every other Sunday morning at 11:00.
• JV Elective Coach: Facilitate children in a fun activity that teaches them a practical skill every other Sunday morning at 9:00.

Kids in Ministry Classroom Roles (Varsity 1st—4th Grade)

• Kids’ Worship Coach: Lead children in learning worship songs and disciple them by teaching them how the songs relate to the Bible every other Sunday morning (opposite Kids Drama Team) at 11:00.
• Kids’ Drama Coach: Lead children in learning skits to teach Biblical truths to other kids every other Sunday morning (opposite Kids Worship) at 11:00.

Scrimmage (Ages 2-4th Grade; Wednesday nights)

• Scrimmage Small Group Coach: Facilitate a small group of kids in their journey with Christ and help them to discover who God is in their life. Serve on Wednesday nights for 12 weeks.

All Stars Ministry Support Roles

• Sunday Morning Coordinator: Ensure all the coaches have what they need and help them to feel supported in their role. Serve at 9:00 or 11:00.
• Classroom Manager: Stock the cabinets and close the classes in Children’s Ministry after the Sunday morning services.
• Supply Prep Team Organizer: Gather materials for prep team and organize completed project supplies for Sunday mornings.
• Supply Prep Volunteer: Take supplies home to cut out and prep for Sunday mornings. Serve at your convenience during the week.
• Supply Distributor: Distribute supplies to JV and Varsity classes for Sunday morning. Serve at 9:00 or 11:00.

Please Note: To protect the children, All Stars runs a background check on everyone who volunteers to serve.
